Communication with patient with psychiatric disease - workshop with Simulated Patient
Ability to communicate correctly is one of the key skills in the family doctor's office. Relation with patients with psychiatric problems is based on general rules of clinical communication but is also characterised by some specific aspects. Interaction with these patients requires the doctor to be flexible and adjust their skills during particular stages of clinical consultation. Workshops enable participants to practice interaction with a person with a psychiatric problem in simulated conditions with the participation of a standardized patient. The spectrum of problems to be addressed will depend on the prior selection of participants.

Assertiveness in Primary Care/Communication workshops
Effective doctor-patient communication is a very import factor in building their relationship. A doctor's communication and interpersonal skills encompass the ability to gather information in order to facilitate accurate diagnosis, counsel appropriately, give therapeutic instructions, and establish caring relationships with patients. Good doctor-patient communication has the potential to help regulate patients' emotions, facilitate comprehension of medical information, and allow for better identification of patients' needs, perceptions, and expectations. Patients reporting good communication with their doctor are more likely to be satisfied with their care, and especially to share pertinent information for accurate diagnosis of their problems, follow advice, and adhere to the prescribed treatment. Patients' agreement with the doctor about the nature of the treatment and need for follow-up is strongly associated with their recovery.
Assertiveness is a skill referred to in social and communication skill training. In other words, assertiveness is a strategy that helps express sb’s own needs calmly and confidently. It also means considering sb’s rights and needs as those of other people. That’s why I perceived it as a good method for doctors to improve their relationship with their patients.

Natural delivery - practical skills
Out-of-hospital events of obstetric nature are some of the situations that may be encountered by a doctor. When analyzing the majority of cases in out-of-hospital settings, obstetrical cases represent a small percentage in comparison with, for example, those suffering from diseases, yet they always evoke a lot of emotions. The level of stress, the seriousness of the situation and, in many cases, the short time needed to perform appropriate medical interventions present a particular challenge for the doctor.  The aim of the workshops is to systematize knowledge and simulate emergency childbirth in pre-hospital settings.
The exercises include:
1.  Assessment of a pregnant woman
2.  Rules for conducting labor and delivery – simulation
3.  Assessment of a neonate

Spine/knee Examination
This is a musculoskeletal disorders workshop for General Practitioners. We would like to invite GP's to our workshop. The general idea is an examination and therapy of Musculoskeletal disorders in everyday practices of GP's. One of our biggest strengths is the practice. Our guiding thought is: less lecture, more practice. Put on your most comfortable shoes and clothes! You will be able to carry out the tests to diagnose sciatica, the piriformis syndrome, knee pain as well as low back pain. We'll give you the right tools for doing so in your medical practices.

Run with Mikołaj!
We would like to invite you to running workshops for Young GPs. It is an interactive meeting for GPs who are willing to learn the most common causes of patient’s injuries. How we do it: the “Galloway Run Walk Run” method. 5-6 minutes of jogging intermingled with short stops. It is a safe method of training for people, who have never run before, as well as running amateurs. We will explain you, why it is safe during the workshops. Short stops are intended to talk over the main reasons for knee joint, hip and pain in the lumbar spine. Is it worth it - how and when should we stretch? At each station all participants carry out the examination. We guarantee an interactive and interesting way of conducting workshops. Running route is prepared earlier and personally checked by workshop organizers. It is time for GP's to know how to help their patients - sport enthusiasts.
